The Full Story

In 1963, Harry Juteram opened Juteram’s Auto Supplies. His passion for cars was not by accident – it was in his blood. Harry’s grandfather was the proud owner of the twelfth registered vehicle in Trinidad. His father and uncles built, owned and managed a fleet of buses that travelled The East-West Corridor from Biche to Port of Spain. Finding himself an orphan at the age of 12, Harry promised to become successful, give his children a happy life and leave a legacy that would his family proud.

After opening Juteram’s as a scrapyard, he spent the next 50 years building and improving his business, evolving it into the automotive enterprise it is today – one of the leading automotive supplies company in the country.

After opening on the Eastern Main Road in Sangre Grande, Juteram’s opened its second location, in 1995, at #8 Guanapo St, Arima and prides itself on serving these communities with exceptional service.

Today, this family business continues to thrive with the second generation at the wheel. Its executive management comprises a stellar team: Randy Juteram (Managing Director), Joseph Juteram (Purchasing Manager), Ricky Juteram(Sales Manager) and Adelaide Juteram-Singh (HR and Accounts Manager) – siblings who are proud of their strong heritage. A dedicated team of 25 employees remain committed to frequent training in customer relations.

Customer Service and Satisfaction is our #1 priority” – Managing Director, Randy Juteram says without hesitation. “Without the customer, there is no business”. Juteram’s, a business built on traditional family values, extends this to its customer base. Every customer is important, treated with respect and offered the best service possible.

With a wide range and selection of brands and affordable products to choose from, at both branches, Juteram’s always aims to provide a service that is second to none. Genuine parts for Nissan and Toyota are available, as well as new auto parts for Japanese and Korean vehicles. Whenever a part needed is not readily available, one of the helpful staff members will assist the customer in sourcing it.

Juteram’s also endeavours to expand its services in the future. The business is currently in the process of digitizing its operations to serve an even wider geographical range including Port-of-Spain and South Trinidad. By providing online services, Juteram’s hopes to extend its services soon to all corners of Trinidad and Tobago and in the future, to the wider Caribbean.
